Biking with Grandma Pat

We took the opportunity to visit Great Grandma Ragsdale while we were up in McKinney recently. It was such a nice day that we pulled out the bikes. She was super sweet with William as he is learning to ride a bike with peddles.

During our Homeschool Co-op, William's class studied our 5 senses...the taste week was super entertaining!

As part of our homeschool co-op, the Sunrise Leadership Alliance, Williams little "bugs" class is exploring senses.

Here he is with his plate of smells. 

Cousin Mischief

Cousin Brynlee was visiting as we were waiting for Sam to be born. 

Waiting is boring work, so these two had to be creative in entertaining themselves.

That is my permanent lip stick. 

"Where did you put it?

"On my bum-bum."

"On your bum-bum? No I don't think so."

But Sweet Brynlee was telling the truth.

Empathy Pain

Lee was showing the kids some little teaching videos on proper placement for doing ultrasound guided nerve blocks. This particular one Will is watching is on the back lower hamstring area. The rest of the body is all tented off you all you see is the back of their leg. When the kids saw "Eww" it is when they are swabbing with iodine. But when they start to insert the needle, William feels it too!
